The Texas ABC is located in Keene, Texas.

Keene, Texas » For nearly two decades, Pacific Press Publishing Association had operated the Texas Adventist Book Center. However in September 2013, the Pacific Press board voted to cease operation of their more than 20 stores in the United States and Canada.

After careful study and consideration, which included forming a Business Acquisition Committee and receiving full reports, the Texas Conference opted to take on the management of the operation of the Texas Adventist Book Center. The transaction requires non-tithe funds. The Texas Conference officially began operating the Texas Adventist Book Center on Monday, March 17, 2014. The Texas ABC will remain the only Adventist Book Center open in the Southwestern Union, serving the Arkansas-Louisiana, Oklahoma, Southwest Region, and Texico Conferences, in addition to the Texas Conference.

Reconfigurations to the existing layout of the physical store are underway in order to bring the food center and book center under one roof. The Texas Conference would like to thank everyone who has played a role in the success of the Texas ABC in the past and wishes them the best in their future endeavors.

The Texas ABC expresses gratitude to its customers and asks for patience and prayer during the transition. It is their mission to transition through this process as seamlessly as possibly with little interruption to the customer, and they will strive to meet their ultimate goal of providing the best products and customer service as possible.
